modified 16v green on eBay - for 3rd time
2 previous posts in this forum from when it was previously listed
From January, without the red wheels, I think he withdrew it
From March, with red wheels, started at £999 no bids
And here it is again on eBay
1 bid already

I have just noticed that he says "this is the last time i will advertise the car,if it doesnt sell i will keep it" ....LOL.
I am tempted, my Accord 2.4 iVTEC is now 6 years old and I am thinking of getting rid of it, this 16valver sounds quite good, but though it is probably as quick as a 2.4 iVTEC, is it as practical as an everyday car ?
Also, what about insurance costs on a car with mods like that ?
{Alternatively I could get my iVTEC chipped and easily be much quicker ...the 2.4 only revs to 7k if I had it chipped to 8k, assuming no drop in torque, that would be a 14% extra reach in each gear, a true 35 in 1st, 65 in 2nd, 98 in 3rd, 130 in 4th, 165 in 5th if it would get to that}
Finally, this 16valver is about 120 miles from me and I don't want to drive all that way. If anyone else lives near the Wirral and takes a look, I would be interested in an opinion.

I doubt if even a brand new BX16V would be as reliable as a 6 year old Honda-let alone a 17 year old one.
It is possible to get them sorted, but it took me quite a while to get mine to that stage.
Mine is definately in the 'hobby car' category now, rather than my everyday car.
It is also quite thirsty around town- fine on a decent run though.
Insurance is cheaper than the Honda if you can get a 5000 mile classic policy.
