Rear subframe mountings - how much?

Post by KevR »

Does anyone know offhand how much a pair of the rear subframe mounting bushes (that bolt through the body just under the rear seats) are?
Bloke I'm buying some NOS foglights from has a pair for sale but wants 60 euros, which seems a bit steep. don't want to say yes then find out they're cheaper from Citroen!

Last time I checked here in the UK from a Citroen dealer they were over £90 EACH ! ! I got the impression that they were fairly common in autofactors on the continent but not in the UK.

Bloody hell. Best I snap them up then...
He's got a few other NOS bits but they're mainly small bits - clips, an air filter, cardboard/foam intake tube etc - and they're for an earlier TD so no use to me.

I was refering to the foglights Malcolm - I don't know the part No or the current price of them and I haven't seen any in autofactors over here but I think they might be more easily available on the continent. I seem to remember a conversation on here about GSF stocking them at one time something like £60 a pair.

Kev - last year I modified the mounts to accept a pair of cheepies from halfrauds - they're already going rusty so obviously they are subject to lots of muck and crud down there - I think anything you can think of to protect them has got to be a good idea.

No, I think my original post caused a bit of confusion – it was indeed the subframe mounts I wanted a price for. The mention of the foglights was incidental!
