I would say that £1500 is about right nowadays for a nice 16V, especially a Phase 1. So £1705 is top dollar for a good car.
Except that this one isnt
I hope the buyer knows what they were bidding on or is prepared for a discussion when they go to collect it.

If you check out the bidding history, it looks like it's two people who have got rather carried away. Can't be anyone on this forum, else they'd have had ample warning of what to expect with the car. Expect to see it re-listed sometime soon...
