Ideally a decent TZD Turbo but a GTi 8v would do the trick. No rush, as I will not be able to buy it until July onwards.

White BX wanted
White BX wanted for the Challenge next year. I want to doll it up a bit with lots of art, so white's what I need
This is in case the GS isn't ready (or we don't want to take it)... And I need to do this to get it off my chest.

I have a white BX.... Admittedly a comparatively thirsty, admittedly scruffy and presently somewhat leaky one....

I did actually think about it!
But, in reality I think it has to be diesel for day-to-day use. If I did pick (now there's a luxury we no longer seem to have) a petrol - I'd want a be-spoilered 8v of the 'RLO' ilk (for those who don't know F***RLO -'king Rollo was a bit of an 8v legend) or a very late 8v GTi. I did consider a Ph.1 16v but they're rare enough even if you don't facor in reliability on a 2000 mile foreign adventure

At present the only challenge my BX is fit for is Scrapheap Challenge
At least the CX 22TRS should soon be on the road (retest planned for tomorrow) and then I can concentrate on the BX again.

You're welcome to have it back if you want?
I know a great guy who wants it, and he messes around with old busses at the weekend. (not the Doc!). And he rebuilds K-series engines for fun
Also, I think James Cartledge wanted it, as it is his old car. No shortage of buyers for it!
As it stands, neither of them are for sale yet, but I can only lavish so much money and attention on both of them. It would be better to just have one nice one.
