Cop this beauty :D

Ooo 'ello! That your new toy Phil? Being a bit too old for 'MaxPower' and of a rather 'tweedy' disposition, I might opt for something a bit more discrete personally - but a pritty car is a pritty car! I'd just look like I was having a mid-life crisis if I drove it! :D

What if the air vent thingy was the body colour? ^

I was being ironic, but as modded cars go it's not a bad one in my opinion. Certainly a headturner. (But not for all good reasons). I agree Paul, why didn't the chap (I assume it was a chap!) paint the vent in black?

Yeah you're probably right - it destroys the line a bit. Never mind - a bit of modest photoshopping is as near as I'm going to get to 'hotrodding' a tasty car! :D

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll do some "before" pics and get photoshopping.
I like some of pics you have posted especially the silver BX and the XM. The wannabe cabrio idea is a possibility too. And its cheap ....

TBH anything is going to look a bit naff until I get the whole car sorted but right now I have to do what is affordable. My next big purchase for the car is going to be one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 326wt_1141 and when that starts saving me money I can think harder about resprays :D

the two tone 16v is mine.

Yes, the ride was poos with those 17in wheels, but i liked the two-tone, just for something different.

She will have 15-16in max eventually

She is currently of the road with a bunged front, which will be repaired shortly...

...and a performance head(high comp,petert cams, bakerBM gears,etc) , link ecu and throttle bodies to go on.
one thing better than owning a 16v-owning TWO 16vs

Once my mind had made the connection between the phrases; 'Citroen BX', 'hot rod' and 'Adobe Photoshop' I just couldn't help myself somehow . . . sorry! :D

(Apologies to mds141 for the shameful and wanton virtual vandalism of his beautiful car!)

@NZ

That's a realy nice looking car and it does suit the alloys but I like my comfort ride. I know it defeats the object but could the ride be improved if fitting bigger wheels purely for aesthetic reasons by fitting softer spheres do you think?
