gti 4x4

Post by mike22861 »

Npthing to much someone has butchered taking the dash out at some point nearly every heater panel screw, switch and cable clip point was broken it all works now but needs a bit more time and effort to finish it. All the dash lights were out usual story if you boost start one of these. I swapped the bulbs for led solves that problem. maybe next year the engine and clutch needs an overhaul it leaks oil and the clutch isnt brilliant you could live with it but id rather not other than that it's mint. Ive done about 500 mikes in it this week some very smile inducing moments theres something about the 4x4 gti the old gti had a tendency to understeer when pushed this sorts all that out you feel for a split second the front end scrabble for grip then the torsen diff shifts the power to the back and hey presto back on rails.

Nice that! The three best colours for a BX - White, silver, green??

White and silver seem to enhance the slightly angular feel.

I notice the very late silver cars have different coloured bumpers, closer to the actual colour of the car.

All the later, high spec cars have BCB including the TZD and GTi range.

They're just normally rough as the paint doesn't adhere particularly well...
I have zero patience for your tedium.
