Grey bumper paint code.

Couldnt find this in the tecky section. Does anyone have the grey bumper paint code for the late BX? It the grey found on bumpers of the silver models.

I think its going to need a bit of gentle sanding to establish a key. Anyone tried painting their bumper?

It looks a wee bit complicated there are two that might fit. it says for 'stylised areas and surrounds' Grey ETV

For 'colour moulded bumpers' Grey HVE. Gibbo.

Cant source anything im afraid. Looks like im going to have to get a generic paint and get it as near as poss, so will need to do the whole bumper.

My source is the Citroen electronic parts catalogue/manual 2008. those are the only codes listed unless you have some special edition model such as with a post office or business livery. G.

If you can tell me the year and (main) paintcode of your BX. I should be able to give you the correct bumper code.

The following are the main 'grey' BX bumper codes : FYF, FYB, FZQ, FXX,

Hi I cant find the colour code as theres nothing other than some vague etching where the colour code should be (maybe this was all there ever was). If its any help the car is the fairly common silver colour (1991).

My camera recently died so no pics yet im afraid. This link shows a car of the same colour.

Just found it..main body is Gris Chrystal Met which means the bumper on a 1991 (not 92!) is code FYF.
