You've obviously never got a piece of molten metal in your eye then? I have twice, the last even whilst wearing full wraparound goggles!

It was quite a strange feeling, sitting there trying not to blink or flinch whilst someone probes your eye with a needle. They were embedded into the eyeball, so essentially had to be 'dug' out with the needle tip. I could see my vision distorting as they did this, but (fortunately!) couldn't feel a thing due to the anaesthetic drops.

I'm quite happy not to be considered a real man in this context!

I've became a bit safety obsessed really after various injuries with power tools and stuff in my eyes. Being a musician I'm particularly careful with my ears now, using ear defenders for sustained rackets and grinder onslaughts.

I'm a singer/guitar player but these days only for pleasure and occasional gigs. I struggled with a band for a few years in London not really making a convincing living but I'm glad I had a bash.
These are few years old but you get the general idea:

some 'pop' music

euro trash
