Bit of a mess for £400, but sounds pretty keen to shift it, so I'm sure a reasonable offer would go down well.

Scrap value i'm afraid, no tax, no mot & it looks a mess & no real details about mileage & how long its been off the road etc & what actual work has been done to the car in the ownership of project geezer....

Well, I only posted it up because at the very least its a source of spares! He's not going to START by asking what he'll actually accept is he?

I suspect unless he/she is a dreamer, scrap value offered will take it off his drive.

umm , to be fair to the vendor

it do's say

"must go, so any fair offers either as a whole on in bits considered. swaps also be considered."

it must be quite hard for a non bx expert to value one these days,

even we get surprised by the price some of them go for

Exactly. In retrospect I was probably a bit rude, my tongue was firmly in my cheek and i did notice he was very flexible on offers/parts etc. I just thought £400 was a bit . . . optimistic?

Well, scrap value has been mentioned here.

So that'll be £150 for the car, £50-£75 for the wheels, Another £50-£100 for the Phase 2 bumpers and 16v bodykit, plus any other valuable spares on the car...

It's the dilema we all have to face sometimes. let it go for less than the sum of the parts are worth, or break it yourself and make more money.
