Rear right brake caliper needed

While I was changing the spheres with the help of Jaba, it transpired that the hydraulic pipe for the rear right brake had rusted through and was leaking.

Thankfully he had the part and was nice enough to help me replace it (many thanks), but the caliper bleed screw was rusted up and wasn't going anywhere apart from braking off.

The outcome of this is that I need a new caliper in order to bleed the rear brake, so does anyone have one spare with a non siezed bleed screw?

The rear calipers can be successfully bled without using the nipple if it has broken off but still sealed.

1) Remove the pipe from the caliper.

2) Split the caliper

3) Manually push the pistons fully back in both halfs

4) Refit the caliper, ensuring the faces are clean and smearing the faces & 'O' rings with LHM.

5) Depress the brake pedal (carefully, with help) with the engine running and the pipe still disconnected until the fluid is running LHM green and no air spurts.

6) Refit the pipe to the caliper

7) Brake should now work efficiently

Also worth noting if you DO replace the caliper: They're NOT "handed" and fit either side, you just swap the pipe and nipple round. Et Voila!

Don't know, but she was greasy and clamped well!
