What didn't help is that the advert only had teeny tiny images on it, and one of them was of a LHD dutch car.....

The daft thing is I`ve just bought a BX rear spoiler for £9.00 inc postage and that about seven times what a complete car cost me once!

Well its gone to a Citroen Mechanic and hes picking it up tonight so Im happy. I dont have a digicamera hence the small images taken from my phone!

Im more than happy with £361.00! considering I was letting it go for £300 last week.

Well Tim, I just posted a note under "well done el presidente" in the general chat forum to thank john Wood once again for putting a new clutch in my 1985 mk1 16RS and just happens that I need a nice clean and tidy diesel bx to shod my missis..(make her happy in the car sense).
I think yours sounds right up our street. I'll have to get rid of a thisty Mazda first but that shouldn't be a problem.
My MK1 is the same coluor so won't we be the posh ones.call me on 01179373713 and we can sort it out.
Regards
Chris

Chris, are you still after a diesel? My TZD may be up for grabs shortly due to too many cars and not enough cash

Cav: where did you get the rear spoiler? was it something I missed on the flea?
BTW, your Welsh spellings are just about perfect - thank you, thank you, thank you.

Gaz, it`s been sold now sorry. A member of this forum has bought it and I`ve replaced it with a GTi 8 valve BX.
I`ll keep my eye out for anymore on the horizon and let you know.

Gareth, I `won` the spoiler about 3 weeks ago I think as the original on the TZD had badly faded lacquer. The eBay wasn`t perfect but was a lot better.
Not sure where the original one is, either left it in the boot of the TZD or it`s floating around here amongst all the junk
