I'd love to be able to be there too! Just can't happen - so all I ask is that someone makes a photographic record of this event 8)

A digital photo album of stage by stage would be superb and hopefully a confidence boost to any contemplating an engine change in the future.

Mark, can`t remember what the bumpers are like though I think they are ok.
The bonnet, however, fell off the trailer on a busy road and was run over by the trailer and a car I recall
Vanny and I were following it at the time and at least one of us found it quite amusing

The weather forecast for tomorrow is not brill. 7 deg and light rain. How do you feel about this Aaron.

Personally I'm none too impressed, but if it does rain I'll just be miserable (nowt new there then) thought I might as well say so before anyone else does. But it's you I'm more concerned about health wise.

Ken, I`ll e-mail or pm you later on when I know whether I have to come into work or not.
If I don`t then I`ll see if there`s any relatively simple to remove items I can take off to make a start if you want.

Ok, I'll get the two tool boxes, empty cans, drip trays and plastic sheets and cloths loaded in the car. Ooh better not forget all the new bits. I'll be leaving at about 6am.

Sleepy, can`t remember if I mailed you my mobile number so will do again shortly. If you manage to get lost on the way (though it`s stupidly easy to find) just call me, give me a landmark and I`ll come out and find you.
I`ll be up bright and early helping Master Cavmad do his paper round and cursing the b*st*rds who fill weekend papers with crap supplements and even crapper CD`s and DVD`s
Anyhow if you arrive before I get back from said round give me a quick call and I`ll whizz back, I`ll not be more than about 1/2 mile away.
Ken, looks like you are all set so I`ll see you in the morrow. I was going to start stripping bits off the estate in readiness but having got your message about warming the engine up etc I`ll leave well alone
I have two garages here (both have cars in) so if we can`t move the 16V I`ll get my Merc out of the other one.
Look forward to meeting you tomorrow chaps, I`ll provide tea, bacon butties, encouragement, swear words and stupid sarcastic comments you could probably do without in a possibly fruitless attempt to cheer you up if it p*ss*s down.

Lovely job Aaron! I reckon you should do it in about 2-3 hours mate.
I`ll wheel all the BX`s out that I have here (both estates, TZD and 16V) and we`ll set up a photo shoot.
