I have this feeling the TZS engine after 235,000kms and having had its head replaced 3 years and 32k ago may well be about to cause more trouble.
Oil is visible on the seal of the spark plug in number 3 cylinder. Yes have changed spark plugs and it looks like oil is leaking from that seal in the block. No visible oil burning though!
Stuttering of car under load especially with spritely driving that I put down to a carburettor issue several months ago, may not be though.
Cooling system! Using water and staying pressurised 24 hours after vehicle use. having cold water leak out of the rad when you release the radiator cap from cold does not seem right. On one occasion water was being pushed out of overflow after a run.
Not sure how the Aircon which hardly gets used over winter plays into this if at all.
Some thoughts before I look at options please?
Symptoms,effects and prognosis

Ok now I am getting to the point where BX ownership is rapidly becoming a hobby car rather than the daily ride for both BXs.
The TZS now has decided to leak the other green stuff from a location which was patched up a few months ago.
The TRS well there is creaking noise from the rear so we know what needs doing there and there is a leak in the heater matrix, A crack on the pedel housing and its a pain to start. Other than that it has a relativly good engine (296,000kms).

Cold water in rad, pressurised cooling system and losing water? Sounds like a stuck thermostat to me. Might have popped the H/G or worse warped the head if it\'s got too hot. Remove the thermostat, trying running the car again to see if problem goes. If it doesn\'t, it could be a massive air lock, a blocked hose or a duff water pump.
Oil in spark plug - do you mean oil is being pushed past the plug seal by compression? Or oil is leaking onto them from somewhere?

Thats my fear of the H/G but the lights of Death have not appeared! AlthoughI can not remeber what side of the thermostat that is located or would it work with a stuck thermostat?
Water pump was done wiith the H/G although anything is possible.
The Oil in the spark plug "seems" to be being pushed passed the spark plug seals. I can not see any way in for it from any external source.
The spark plugs have been replaced and hole cleared but still oil has appeared.
At a guess I would assume thats causing the rough running as well?
Last night I noticed a little lhm puddle appear again so thats another thing on the list if that is the Octopus again then the redesign modification has got to be done soon as those pipeps no longer available in NZ. Either that or it was the repair to the HC failing.

After fixing the LHM leak it is back to this problem.
After starting the vehicle water was pooring out the radiator. On removing the rad cap (after cooling) it spurted out some more. So I ran the engine without the cap and yes lots of bubbles and fizzles coming out before it got to a point where it was pushing water out again.
Pretty much says to me the Head Gasket has gone again.
am I sadly right?
