Maybe they got a bargain , this one is a year older and £11,340 is being asked for it.Roverman wrote:Supply and demand gentleman, if somoene wants something enought they will pay through the nose. Point in fact 2008 L200 RedBull DiD, guide price £9200, auction ended afteer 2 people fought it out at £11750!

One mans object of desire is another mans piece of junk. If someone wants that car badly enough and they can't find a similar one cheaper they'll hand over £1950. Ultimately something is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
That's philosophically speaking of course. In the real world most of us have a nose for the lie of the land and what the market will bear (even if my particular nose is routinely wrong!) I'd have said a grand to fifteen hundred was more realistic if it's as good as it looks - and it looks VERY nice. But you never know . . . I'm routinely wrong.
Good luck with the sale btw

Doesnt make sense does it, but there you are, anyway that GTi looks MINT and good luck with the sale, I think the price is a bit steep and maybe £1200-£1500 would be top of the tree.Way2go wrote:Maybe they got a bargain , this one is a year older and £11,340 is being asked for it.Roverman wrote:Supply and demand gentleman, if somoene wants something enought they will pay through the nose.
