Just back from my lad`s paper round and the first arrival is here! Sleepy`s turned up and I`m just about to get organised. Wish us luck folks, though with Ken`s expertise I`m sure we won`t need it
Bit overcast here but not too cold and most importantly not raining-least not yet anyhow.
Reports and pictures of the blood, sweat and tears will be posted up later or tomorrow.

Transplanters calling, are you deceiving me over?
News is......GOOD! Mrs Sleepy your fella`s car sounds like a dream and he left here about 5 minutes ago (circa 7.20pm). Can`t forsee any problems as the transplant went well and as I say car sounds fine.
Gonna sound like I`m grovelling but Ken and Aaron`s expertise and workmanship is nothing short of amazing.
Hats off to Ken for his assistance in curing my BX estate brake problems, swapping spheres on my TZD and a few other things too. Cheers to aaron too.
Anyways about time I had my tea and a shower, and a few pints are on the cars I believe.
It`s been one of those days that remind you just how great the BX club is and makes me proud to be a very small part of it.

I think I probably echo the sentiments of those BX Club memebrs who live in the 'South'. I wish Ken, Cavmad et al. lived nearer! WELL DONE CHAPS!

Sleepy has just got back and he says "Thanks to all, an amazing journey back, left arm and foot got bored thru lack of use, this engine would climb mount everest in 5th.
Although I think the throttle cable needs adjusting as with foot hard to floor I could only get 75mph"

So thanks again from Mrs Sleepy.

Pleased to hear hear you got home OK.

I was thinking coming up the M62, although I connected the throttle cable to the new pump, we never got to check for full throttle.

Anyway no doubt you'll be up early tomorrow to do that.

Well I`m just back from the boozer and a good night out. Aaron if it`s only doing 75mph then something must need adjusting as the estate would do 80-90mph with ease. Great to have met you and I`m sorry that my very limited mechanical knowledge meant I couldn`t help much. Ken if you`re reading this you are a true hero, thanks for your help today with estate and the TZD. Not many geunine people left in today`s mad world but you are one of them.
Catch you all tomorrow (today!) when I`ve sobered up a little!
