Forgot to add, thanks for the picture..
This will be CHEAP I would like to have it rehomed sooner rather than later so I can get something else. Remember it has a long tax and MOT. :)

That is only a small part of it. I honestly love the car but this issue is something I have no time to sort.. I am on shifts working 6 days a week. This is a job I started Monday. Hence the need to move the car to an enthusiast who may want to restore/repair.
I will do everything I can to help make a sale.

£200 with the tax. I could really do with knowing tonight if anyone is interested?? It still drives fine if you don't boot it.

phil - add some details about location to the description as that'll add to the viability of anyone taking it. Add any photos too. Sadly, it may be worth more in scrap/parts unless someone has the know how, enthusiasm and maybe parts too to repair it. steve

That is the thing. I know it's worth more if I weigh it in and claim the tax back.
But, as a classic car enthusiast myself although no particular love towards Citroens I hate the idea of scrapping it. Once they are gone they are gone.
I love Morris Marinas, for example I own two. Most hate them and would happily scrap one. That makes me sad so the same thought process applies here. I have every confidence it will remain fine if driven to compensate. Someone may get lucky with a box oil change.
I have a 51 hour a week job at the moment and just have no time to spare. Any time I do get is taken up by sitting still relaxing.
Pics tomorrow now but it is green, showing 112k, lovely interior, bonnet needs painting, spoiler needs painting, plenty of scratches, no service history. Other than the faults outlined in this thread and a rattle from underneath similar to an anti rollbar link it goes well.
Car is in Swindon. V5 still in the post as I only bought it last week.

He established this club... and saved the odd BX... but he is - or was - based not too far from you. And really should get back into BXs

I wish my circumstances were different I really do.
I have a full drive so it needs to go, no room in the corner. :(
As I said, it drives fine if you don't acclerate hard. Who knows, I might try changing the gearbox oil if it hasn't gone by Sunday.
What grade do they take, by the way and how much?

Dextron 2 is the oil you need. You'll only get about 2 ltrs out during any one change.

Post up some pics and I'll have a word with a mate and see if we can do anything about it. :)

Looking at the trim and the side windows it has to be a 19TZD.

If no-one else wants it, I'll take it. But,

IS ANYONE ELSE INTERESTED IN IT?

i've always fancied triton green and an automatic ....but it's got a sunroof so no good for me - not enough headroom.
