Well, things really went well yesterday, it didn't rain or snow, in fact everything went more or less according to plan.

I noticed I've been given some nice compliments for my part in yesterdays event, so I like to say "thank you" also it should be noted the the whole thing could not have taken place without Billy's generousity in donating the engine and gearbox.
Just another classic example of how we all can help one and other and keep our cars on the road.

Thanks ken I agree totally with you. I have adjusted the throttle just got to give it a run on the duel carridgeway to make sure everthing is correct but other than that everything seems to be spot on.

A big THANKYOU TO YOU AND TO bILLY FOR THE ENGINE AND BOX

It was a pleasure, quite enjoyed myself if the truth be known. I`m never happier than when I`m up to my eyes in muck messing about with cars and having a laugh with other petrol heads.
BTW, bloody good job you didn`t come down today. Must have a good 5 inches of snow round here.
Oh, and one of my happy-go-lucky neighbours called the police because my son and his mate were getting the snow off her car (with their hands) to make snowballs with.

Could be a potential caption competition there, Aaron. My entry would be..."Cavmad plays air piano whilst Ken gets run over by half-finished BX!"

Great pictures Aaron, really liked em.

Suprised nobodys commented yet on the "desert wellies" as for the Citroen overalls.

I can recommend you lot should get a pair of these, probably available at your local autojumble,

When you go to look at a car for sale on ebay or whatever, and you get these out of the boot of your car and put them on :o watch for a change in the face and body language of the seller.

I spotted them but thought my eyes must be deceiving me ! Your feet must have been absolutely frozen ! I've got a pair just like them but I wouldn't be brave enough to wear them in this weather.
