Although the car may be the star............do we not get to see a "rogues Gallery" of the operators who helped it achieve such stardom ???

No really, my feet were like toast all day. I'd taken some safety shoes with me but my feet were so warm I couldn't face changing into ice cold steel toe caps.

I've worn the sandals for about a year now and I've no idea what they're made of but they really are warm.

I wore proper shoes last Saturday when I went to Ipswich to collect the Xantia, result, cold feet all day.

I was wondering about that, if it was some clever way of making your body feel warm by keeping your feet cold; like curing a headache by thumping your thumb with a hammer !

Going off topic - I suffer with raging atheletes foot and find that sandals (sans socks) whatever the weather are both warm and keep the fungus at bay far better than creams or urine.
I have a nice pair of Clarks efforts in leather - look very Jesus Boot - but strangely warm.

Theres usually a couple of stray sockets floating around a BX engine bay, one of mine did a trip to the south of france a few years ago and I got it back at the next service, looks like you chaps did a sterling job there, many hands make light work eh.
