Wanted: Place to crash in/near Liverpool

Post by Philip Chidlow »

For one night only - promise! 8th November...

I'm driving up in the BX and don't think I'll do a round trip in a day, given I'm a few hours in the city auditioning for a TV show (don't ask!)... Can bring own sleeping kit of course!

And a beer or two.

PM me. (Please). :D

If you dont get any offers, Snooze, Liverpool have very good rooms for £40;

Snooze

Failing that, try calling the Adelphi and haggle, they are often flexible about prices.

A year ago i could have offered a few feet of floor space, but I don't live there any more.

Don't forget to visit the third cathedral if you get chance ;)

Is that where you are working?

Anyway thanks for the tip: Snooze looks good as a back stop.

Sorted. Travelodge room £19. Can't say fairer than that. Cheers to those who offered advice/help. :)

Well, it's Deal Or No Deal but chances are (of course) I won't make it past the first of two hurdles... but one's got to try!

My brother tried that - ended up in Bristol for the day watching a load of episodes being filmed, but he still had a good (and cheap) day out from it.

I was going to say, it's filmed here, so why on earth do they have auditions all the way up there?
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

God knows, Chris. Ah well, I've never been to Liverpool...

Hang on. I was born in Warrington, so I might've been! (But left aged 9 months  )

There are two stages to the auditioning. This is the first. I need to ensure I have the waistband of my trousers no higher than Noel's (even though he won't be there) as that tends to upset his followers apparently. It's a sort of hierarchy thing.
