Yep - and look at picture #3 - what is going on with those shoes?!

Looks a pretty sorted car, I'd have bought it six months ago had it not been for insurance costs.

And maybe this new owner should consider that it sat on ebay for six months at a lower price if he's bought it to try and make a quick buck...

It is the same one.
If I rang him up I'd ask
(a) how long have you had it
(b) if you have the same taste in cars as your shoes, why did you buy it
(c) why are you selling it
(d) how much did you pay for it
(e) have you T-cutted it

Looking at how well it has come up, and the history, its road legal and pretty much original (wheel trims and drivers seat asides) I dont think its bad value to be honest.

Just needs a set of TZD seats etc and some proper wheel trims and you have a rare beast, how many other people in the club have a P1 GTI 8v???

I like a BX in shiny black! Is that a normal spoiler, it looks quite big and should this have the wheel trims that have 4 slotted squares around the middle? (like the white and green GTi auto you rescued Tim)

Hence why theres hardly any left now sadly. According to DVLA this is one of 5 cars still taxed.

Theres none of the first Mk2 (1986) GTi's left according on the road.

Seems to have scrubbed up rather well. Bit of a strange price tbh? But at least there is offers i guess, depends what the bottom line is? Would have been better to have posted up the minimum starting price, at least then everyone would know.
