Just like to thank Tim and Richard for making the TGS just a little better.

Can you spot the extra added value add-ons?

1) The rear mud-flap's.
2) The dimpled door handle protector's.
3) The front side window wind-deflector.

But your rear wheel is missing a 'wheel trim valve cover' !

I know, the bloody things just fly off. Another set of 'mint' wheel trims came with the motor so ile leave then till needed. Difficult to spot were the headlight protectors. What else can i add?

Haha, for those not in the know dagenham motors is a rather large Ford retailer, indeed get them off and some Citroeny one made up (no bling though!)

Andy that is quite simply gorgeous.

I would actually consider swapping that for the golf

Sorry bud, Golf's just dont push my buttons ime afraid, a Morgan would do though.

I think the Dagenham bit is a back plate behind the numbers, would they have had a Citroen concession? This can easily be removed.

It was sold to the guy i bought it from on the 8th Nov 1993 from a Dagenham motors in East Grinstead for £5480, obviously a PX. It had 16191 miles on the clock, now just over 51000.

For the moment ile keep her as she is as its all part of her history.

The car\'s very tidy, I like it. I\'m not feelin\' those mudflaps though, or the door handle things. Don\'t like the look of wind deflectors, but I\'ve been driving an Alfa 75 for the last few days that has them fitted and I definately saw the benefits of them, even if they don\'t look great. My car is an everyday one, and if I covered lots of miles in it I\'d probably pop a set on.

If you like Andy as it is then leave it with the dagenham motors plates on, I expect someone traded it in for Ford  (no they didnt havent a Citroen dealer) so have been their most of its life. You could lookin in the service book and see what dealer supplied and see if they are still about.

Well bud,
they come off easy and you can drive at motorway speeds with minimal buffeting with the windows fully wound down so cant understand why you dont like the idea of them. I have driven to Looe in the last year or so and been mighty impressed and they dont defract from the look of the vehicle. All the other bits do a good job too.

I will keep an eye out for a front set of "flaps" for you now, but they seem to me made out of unobtainium if you look for a new set! Took me 3 years to find some for the 16TRS then I got a front and rear set from the same guy.

Actually Tim i have a complete set that came off a 1.6 saloon.

Dont have the reflectors, need a good clean which i can do and was thinking of selling.

They have a standard Citroen badge on the rears, was thinking of fitting them to my diesel estate tomorrow but if anyone wants them they better be quick. Piccies can be done now if anyone is interested.
