19 diesel fuel pipe.

Phil and I know that, before the Challenge (and sooner rather than later probably) the fuel pipe will need replacing. It's corroded and although yesterday I brushed it gently down and found no weeps or horribly crumbly bits so lathered it liberally in Waxoyl.

Phil thought we'd fabricate one out of copper pipe, but if the pipe is still available, can someone provide a part number? Or, even maybe has a spare???

Alternatively, can someone provide the dimensions (internal cross section) - and even a spare one for us to use as a pattern? Or has anyone done similar and can offer advice?

I've seen copper ones before and even plastic ones made from what looked like compressed air line that they use on commercial vehicles.

Small-bore flexible central heating copper pipe's the way to go I think. The big pipe is 10mm O/D and the small one is... oh can't remember, despite having measured it a few days ago. Anyway, shouldn't be hard to find a match.

or brand new form Cit for not very much at all really, they come up on the bay of E quite often aswell.

I have a couple of part numbers for the pipe(s) which are possibly still available from Citroën, could anyone confirm that these are the ones I'll need for a 19TGD hatchback?

95-594 177 (£11.57)
