I've only got the one Oscar... not greedy: just lucky (not something I am overly familiar with in recent times :( ) and quick off the mark.

The request isn't for me/us, it's for a couple of BX nuts who want to do the Challenge, but need a budget BX.

Sorry, just feeling a bit hard done by. I shouldn't be, I know. Hope you find one.

Well I have pointed them at the Preview and the 19TXD both advertised on here... If they are serious either one'd do. I'd go for K39 personally.

Just thinking out loud....are they wanting one just for the trip? Or for a keeper afterwards? If the former then I might be able to loan the silver one, as I'll more than likely be taking the red one.

I'm assuming it's Charlotte and Matt?

As mat said, if it\'s just a car to do the trip in....the estate\'s not doing alot. Needs fixing up, but it\'s a legendary car.

It is Charlotte and Matt, yes. I should contact them Mat. And Kitch, thanks. If they need helping out, the offer sounds good.

I guessed it must be, so I sent her a message. It's a definite possibility! Kitch's estate might be the better bet though, as he's a lot nearer, and I only have one good set of tyres at the moment between two cars. But mine will still have a current MOT then, and THE estate may need more?

Anyway, even if they don't find the right car to buy then it's a double back up plan!

Oh the estate will need a fair amount to get it ready. It\'s been off the road years now. I\'ve got a clutch to go in it and the timing belt will need doing. Once it\'s been recomissioned I\'d have complete faith in it, but yours would be less work I should think. But it\'s got a fair way to go to catch up with legend status :p

 On the other hand if they want one they can just drive to timbucktoo and back if they wanted to and have a high resale value afterwards K39 is far the best bet. especially with that amount of spares.

Phil I have impressed this upon Charlotte, but she has not so far responded... I imagine she's doing sums....

Is this the Charlotte who works at that Medway place? Offer her the estate as a plan B - ie it won\'t cost her anything to buy it, it just needs some work and a ticket. Aslong as they don\'t bin it they can do what they like!

Otherwise sounds like they\'ve got some options here.
