Previous owner checking

Post by kiwi »

Its a longshot which I know is possible in NZ so will give it a try asking here as I can not find it via the net.

The 19TXD I own has a previous history in the UK for about 3 years. I have some details of previous history from the UK just wanted to see what else I could find out about the vehicles history before coming to little ole NZ.

Is there and would the DVLA hold any records for the early 90s then again I may get lucky and find some mechanical history from someone on here.

Hi Kiwi, the only extra info you may get via the net is the MOT history status/advisory's provided its been regularly on the road/mot'd to, but only from the period the MOT's where registered/timed (Via connecting up to VOSA, for the duration of the mot at the testing station) !

You will need the UK car registration and the V5 document ref. (Or MOT test number from the VT20 test certificate/VT30 refusal certificate) to do this though, here is the LINK !

I hope may be of help to you and others ?

:)

All I have is the old UK registration number and a service booklet thats about it and well looks like this may not be possible.

Tell you what though it is a good feeling being sat in something that spent some time on the UK roads and I guess if cars had souls could tell you how much more fun UK roads were.

Or how congested, how many times it was clamped or ticketed, how many hours sat in contraflows, how often it was caught on a speed camera...
