Don't tempt me, it would be too easy

you will be pleased to know that she's still going strong. bin my daily driver since August and it hasnt missed a beat. gets lots of nice comments anywhere i go with it. Driving it carefully ( trying not to go over 70mph) is currently returning 420-440 miles on a full tank of fuel (£70) im more than happy with :D

Good to hear about it again. It was rather sad when I had a text from the MOT testing station reminding me to take it in for a test (which it clearly passed :D )

Yes certainly fantastic value for money. Both the most powerful, and the cheapest car, I have ever owned - in over 30 years!

I'm guessing that this GTi may still belong to 'Ace_the_bass' as the mileage hasn't gone up since it was offered F/S on the FORUM as I've just spotted 'J230 KLU' listed F/S on E-bay, the location is Wigan too !

Click on any photo for link

I note it was F/S by SIMON B back in February 2011 to 'Teebob' who then Sold it on 'Ace_the_bass' sometime afterwards !

Don't forget to open Simon's photo ALBUM when he owned it !

Good luck with the sale

:)

Yea it's still mine! Parked outside the house at the moment. I've made myself a serious rod for my own back by keeping this car! It's now causing some problems with me and my 'beloved' as a result it has GOT to go. Very upset by it but it's that or sonething alot worse!

It is a bit spooky to start getting nudges from my old BX again after so long. Thanks RxBX for linking back to my old thread :D

Deltic, did your J-KLU come from Bramley Park Garage in St Ives (Cambridgeshire)? Back in 2010 I took my "230" to the 2CVGB Registers Day in St Ives and got chatting to the late Roger Bradford who had sold my car twice from Bramley, once new, and again many years later!
