2012 CCC Membership Card

Post by Tim Leech »

For those of you who are members and can access the forum (which is soon to be come open to everyone), there has been requests for nominations for the 2012 Card, I've been banging on about getting a BX on there for 4 years with no success, so if anyone wants to add there two penneth please do so.

Im hoping its not another 2CV or DS again, last year was a lovely CX, which sold about 1,500,000 less examples so its about time we got our chance!

Whilst I love all chevron wearing cars before 2000 and have owned several cxs I can't help noticing a certain je ne sais quoi in the attitude of some ccc members towards the BX.......maybe its just me but there does seem to be an amount of denial about the model which personally is completely unjust. As a business case the BX was a huge success and you could argue that had it not been PSA may have pulled the plug on the brand 25 years ago. Mind you they would probably like that!

I think the BX is really starting to come into its own as far as the car club is concerned - infact the last few rallies I've been to most people have had nothing but praise for them (within ear shot of me anyway!) As to wether one will actually make it onto the membership card is another matter. I suspect 'big' pre-psa Cits; DS/SM/CX will get first dibs on that for the forseeable future ( as usual!).

Thats a shame Doc, we have a new webmaster who is very helpful if you wanted to sort it?

The BX is in the lead for now but the traction avant and XM are mustering some voted!

Well I've given up trying to access CCC forum.
I was sent new access instructions which worked once while I advertised K39 and offered a choice of pics for the club card.
Changed my password as instructed, now can't get in again.

Perhaps it needs a push from a director to sort it out?
