can somebody help please - I'm a bit confused about specs on the 14 - looking up the spec it says that a 14TGE has manual sunroof and no split rear seat whereas the advert states it has electric sunroof and split rear seat - has someone fitted a different interior??
Also I take it his is the alloy block model - does that mean the steering is not so heavy given that 14s lack power steering
thanks

Hi Steve
The 14TGE came without a sunroof, but you could have a factory fit optional electric tilt slide roof or a dealer fit "pop up" glass manul roof.
Also you could choose as a option tinted windows with rear sunblinds, which it seems this car has as well as the electric roof too!

My TGE had a split rear seat, and as far as I know it was the original - it was the same colour as the interior in this one, anyway.the advert states it has electric sunroof and split rear seat - has someone fitted a different interior??
Yep - lovely engine, willing and economic up to around 60mph. Keep it down to that and it'll return 40mpg. It'll also quite happily cruise at 70 plus speed error officer, although the fuel consumption drops to the lower 30's when you do this. Lovely light steering, and very chuckable, brilliant fun on B roads. Also, with the cheap tax and insurance, as far as I'm concerned 14's are the perfect BX for the fan on a budget, and I think the TGE has just the right number of toys. Also I take it his is the alloy block model - does that mean the steering is not so heavy given that 14s lack power steering

HiBX Meteor wrote:/\ hi there, I like the idea of your Herald and Minor's, out of interest, do you use them much ?
I use the minor saloon as a daily driver, the herald is in my garage having a new front wing and a few minor repairs before i strip all the paint off and respray it

Brilliant, I would love a Morris Minor as a daily driver and very nearly bought one once but ended up with a little MG Midget for restoration instead. The 'A' Series and 'B' series engines are actually one of the few Petrol engines i like. Any Picies?triton tge wrote: Hi
