I really do think there are better ways....

Tell us about BXs you have spotted on the road, or BXs/parts spotted for sale including eBay finds.

True, BUT......is this one of the fabled `genuine` 1.9 turbo diesel BX`s? Just looking at listing which says engine size 1900cc and the badge on the car itself I wonder if it`s the real deal?

it has to be a 1769cc TD for 3 reasons.

1) it's a 1990 model, and the 1.9TD wasn't available until 1992.
2) it has a lucas type pump that was only used on the 1769TD engines
3) that "19 TD" badge has clearly been put on later (along with the euro flag), as no BX came with badges there (that I'm aware of)

I wonder how much it would cost to go and get this car from france? I quite fancy the idea of a LHD car.

Seriously though why would you want the inconvenience of a LHD car?Visibility problems, extra insurance, other problems like the fact that Britain is geared up for RHD cars.If it were 900p fair enough but it's £900  :?:  :?:

In Mayenne, 1350 Euros is a fair price for this car.

You have to wonder why a French registered car, with French CT, in France is being listed on A UK site, in Pounds Sterling. Especially as it's worth more in France than it is in the UK

Something doesn't add up here.

Correct me if i'm wrong but the BX Image only came in 1.6 petrol OR 1.9 non turbo diesel.

Its the french Meteor.
