- the plastic grippy catch thingies have failed.

I rescued 2 pairs of these from a scrapyard, but I've broken them now too, so mine are sellotaped in- not ideal. I cannot believe that even Citroen would make these for BX's only - must be the same as for some Peugeot models - I will research and let it be known.

You have to be very gentle when removing them & even more careful when you replace them, i managed to break one of mine when i tried to put it back in, i didn't bother gentrly pressing the tab's, i just tried pushing it in & it snapped

Since that time, i've never bust another one even though i regularly give them a clean once they get grubby on the inside.
