And pretty close to me. Damn that's tempting.

Looks ridiculously clean inside, suppose it just depends where it's been parked for all those years.

Go for it Richard (No one, as yet has stated that they are)!

But so long as you bring it along to the Wetherby show for all to see

Yeah, I meant if it's been garaged or parked on top of a salt mine. (This is Northwich!). :)

Thanks guys and before anyone asks No No No im not going to start a mad campaign of collecting again as im quite happy now with my couple of projects.
Its a real shame about my Dads Zx. Its a black 1.6 Aura with the nice stainless trims to the colour coded bumpers and factory fitted front spots and alloys. Ive told him not to scrap it as im sure something will crop up or he will get alittle money together and have the work done but it has set fire to the plastic inlet system to the single point injection unit, melted the injector , sinjed the underfelt on the bonnet but more serious we think its bent a few valves. Garage quoted around £400 to do it if all the parts were available and no damage to head is found, but its done nearly 150k on a little petrol and whats a zx worth?

I rang the guy with the Leader just now and its his Mums . She has had it from 9 months old and after an operation decided to go for something smaller. I asked about condition etc and he says isnt too bad although been stood a while and doesnt know if it still starts but made arrangements to go over in the morning to have a nosey (take some pics for you all)
If it is ok , it will make a sensible and simple means of unusual transport and as he,s also a CCC member will no doubt be arriving at Wetherby in the spring(along with me in the Digit?

Check out the upholstery-free door panels!

Also note the BIG plastic bung in the 'A' post where normally the rubber/bellowed shroud exits which encapsulates the wires for the C/L and electric windows (Less to go wrong) ?

Richard, check that all the key/door locks work okay

Been over to see it this afternoon and its not half bad. Started after a few turns on jump leads but unfortunately has a hydraulic leak which has drained the tank so wouldnt rise. Its had "home spun" repairs in some of the usual places in what looks like dulux but on the whole is pretty sound .
The brown dashboard top isnt stuck on carpet or anything dodgy but the plastic has gone "funny" in the sun.
Got to arrange transport back home which i was hoping it would drive home but hey ho. Hopefully next Saturday as the old lady who owns it is going away for Christmas other wise it will be after the holidays.
My Dad,s made up with it though,
I will keep you posted in the "gallery section"

Well done, they do have a tendency to go brown, the DTR is just the same, looks very bright! Jealous.
