my 4x4 sold for £350 neednig a clutch and a fair few other jobs like subframe mounts...

Thanks for that info christhelion. I note you are a confirmed BXer. This was my 3rd. I also had another 4X4 Gti that was metallic grey and a white 16valve GTi - that was a lovely car and quick. The previous 4X4 did get me into trouble with the law speeding though. (':oops:')It was just too tempting to blast down the A48 when late for work. Older and wiser now! (':roll:')

I think this one too will now find a new home if I can get it back to the Island at a reasonable cost - any offers? Somewhere in Wales to the Isle of Wight. Cheers
