And, as a pre-facelift 1989 car for that money I would expect the front to rear pipework and fuel lines to have been replaced in the last few years.

Even so...

Close on £1,500? Really? :?

Sounds like my old car sold for 450£ and picked up from Stansted airport
last weekend then driven across to northern ireland.

Car was Mot'd before sale and the buyer was pleased it made the 500 mile home no problems. The buyer is obviously quite an entrepreneur - good luck to him I say !!

I saw this car the other day, in the same place as the map shows on Gumtree, so quelle surprise - it hasn't sold.

I think he's just chancing his arm! A free ad on Gumtree with no pictures, and no effort made since to readvertise or push for a sale. I was hoping to have another BX to add to the Belfast population but the deal has fallen through at the last minute.

A guy in Dublin. All I know is that I was supposed to be going down for it on Monday morning but it was called off on Sunday afternoon.... after arrangements had been made

It was all organized by Robert Smart, I was just the one with the cash and the hope of having a BX again!

More inviting, though, if it was called WANTA-CHIP.
