A blast from the past

Post by cauchoiskev »

Some of the older members may vaguely remember me. I can't remember the last time I posted here, must be a few years back, the main reason being that the car has been stone reliable and given no problem whatsoever. I'm still using my BX, for work and play, it's my only car, and they will have to drag me screaming from it when they finally outlaw them, which I suppose will happen one day.

Great to see that people are still interested in this fantastic motor car. Keep up the good work !

Well old (20 now !) Alceste just passed her French MOT with flying colours again. Here she is on a rare "cleanish" day :

She looks a beauty :) Nice to see you on here again.

I see from your registration you are in the Seine-Maritime dept. is that right? The Citroën Classic Challenge passes Rouen en route to Chartres and Orléans, you could do a few KMs with us in May?

Hey Kev, glad to see that you're still around and BXing. I used your doseur re-build instructions last year to great effect.

Erm, thanks, Philip but that would be an optical illusion. Alceste has many qualities, but nobody has accused her of being a beauty.

Yes indeed, Seine-Maritime. I am about an hour from Rouen. If possible, it would be a pleasure to meet up with you.

Hi Kev - good to see you posting again - I got out of the habit of visiting BXClub for a while for much the same reason. It seems we have this arrangement - I keep on top of servicing (just had cambelt / waterpump etc done) and it keeps on passing MOTs :D
