Breaking TGD Turbo

I have lost my storage for my TGD parts car and need to get it moved very soon. I will be taking the bolt on body panels and grey tweed seats / door panels and putting them in the roof of my workshop but everything else is available at cost of postage. I'm afraid I don't have any spare time to remove any major parts but if anyone wants to remove and collect FOC they are more than welcome. (Very good engine and box)

Hi Kevan

Pedal box, accumulator, boot seal, drivers door seal and lower plastic crank timing cover would be first on my list!

Is that doable or would I need to come over?

No sorry Richard that is a definate no. It is a spotless grey tweed which happens to be my favourite and I am keeping as a replacement for my own TGD which is a death do us part car.

I'll try and find some time next week to go up and strip off what i can and then work out any postage costs.

Damn, i could do with the engine to potentially replace the one in my tzd, but as for removing it, thats outta my league of skills

Out of interest, how many miles has it done & what was it actually like before you laid the car upto rest? (I might be able to persuade a mate to do the work). When you say foc, is that inc the engine?

Is the hydraulic pump available?

Matthew the engine has done 143,000 miles and was unberlievabley looked after by my mate who owned the car for 16 years before me.
Once out of warranty he did all his own oil changes and meticulously documented them and I carried it on. Engine and Box £50 and I have an engine lift you can use if you and your mate want to take it out?

i wouldn't mind a spare gearbox 'just in case' but I'm too far away unfortunately.

I'd be interested in ...
spare driver side seat belt - are they same passenger & driver?
speedo cable
main hoses.

Sorry Tim this post has gone a bit pearshaped on me, I apologise for not explaining properly.

I need to move this car ASAP but have very little time that I can spare to remove any major parts. I will send you the centre console with pleasure and If anyone wants any major parts i.e. engine / gearbox they are very welcome to come and remove them before the car gets removed. So by all means if you want the gearbox please feel free to come and take it but as I run 2 BX's as everyday cars any parts I am able to remove myself will be stored for my own possible use.
