Its been up for sale for quite a long time.

Its had a fair few quid spent on it hence he wants a little more than most people are prepared to pay for a BX 14.

Lack of power steering puts me off the 14.

It does look lovely that. The lack of power steering is a pain when parking but its actually very nice on a country road. Its a little less responsive and smooth than the power steering BX's but can make it a very fun car to drive for some reason. And that 1360cc engine is very very good indeed. I regularly achieved over 40 MPG with mixed driving in mine, and the engine really could rev flat out all day, im sure. It was almost as though my car could break down on a long journey, but I could be 100% confident that it wouldnt be an engine problem. If that cars had a lot of money spent on it then in reliability and longetivity terms, even at £800 or so, it would be a great value car.

Hey everyone!!

Yes its my BX. I've decided to sell as im fancying getting a Dyane/2cv. The car was sold tonight to a guy from Manchester who's coming to collect either over the weekend or early next week. I'll be sad to see her go as I still really like the car, she is fantastic for her age. But my first trip in a 2cv a few weeks ago sold me on them...plus I'll have full length sunroof for the summer!! :D

Lovely car Owen and also seems to have the most comfortable seats known to man as they look like the ones I had on my TGD. BTW, I`d take it off eBay altogether as some idiots are sure to continue bidding and then whine when they don`t `win` it at the end and leave you bad feedback.
Also eBay will charge you full whack. If you go into eBay Help, then A-Z, then `E` you sgould find `ending listing early` (or something similar to that). Type in the listing number and you`ll have a choice of reasons to end immediately. Best bet (i.m.h.o) would be something like `seller has ended listing because item is no longer for sale`.
Take it you are going to mention the forum to the car`s lucky new owner??

Thanks cavmad, the car has been successfully removed. I will definatly be telling the new owner of the car about the club!! Im sure he'll notice the BXclub sticker in the rear window!! Its been a fantastic car for me and is sat outside looking very smart indeed after very good scrub up. I know what you mean about the seats..they are fantastic, that combined with the ride made long hauls bearable!!
