Wanted urgently- Cheap car for Dad?

Post by richardd1652 »

Hi Guys, ive got to find a cheap car PDQ as my Dads Zx has died and its not really economical to fix. Their stuck on the moors where they live and after all this time of me having loads of cars kicking around find myself with NO car to lend them.
The Digit is nowhere near yet neither is my Visa (plans were to have them both roadworthy for Wetherby ) Help?
Richard.

My Dads back on the road again (in the Zx) so i can keep the Leader
Garage had totally mis-diagnosed it!
I said i would have a look at it and if needed take the head of etc, but after running through faults its turned out to be nothing more drastic than a coil pack making it back fire through the injection system, modern cars eh?

They told him it was only fit for scrap and not worth repairing at its age and value.Got the bits of Malcolm Lockwood and he even opened up specially on a Sunday morning so i could pick them up .
I know this isnt the Zx forum, but i think there damn good cars and although not hydraulic the ride is pretty good. This one looks great in factory black with the Aura spec and alloys etc.
Dads chuffed as a dog with 2 tails now and im sure it will be gracing many a CCC meet again.
