Strange obsession with small engined french cars...

Post by saintjamesy89 »

As in the title, I feel drawn to them somehow. I've started entertaining the idea of one day buying a Greek/Italian BX11. Then I saw this on ebay.it!

MK1 BX11 in Ivory, with the funky alloy wheels *dribbles*, now I have to amend my list of dream/wanted BX's to include this one (and swap the mk2 19TRS for a GT). SO beautiful.

Cor! Miserable motoring indeed. I may have to pinch that link for a discussion about 'big car, tiny engine' we've been having on Autoshite...

Not a car for Wales I suspect!

Well you know what they always say - second class riding is better than first class walking any day!

This one might ring your bell Phil? . . .

Wheel trims then (he states the obvious), never mind doesn't make much difference to me! Prefer wheel trims in fact, they are more easily swapped about/painted etc.

Yep - 'yummy's' the word. In fact while gazing longingly at that ebay page, I had a day dream where I find 10 grand in the street, then fly to Italy. After a brief stop over in Mantua - where I purchase the car - I spend a long weekend of art galleries and good restaurants in Venice, before a leisurely drive across Northern Italy, Switzerland and France. Obviously with enough dosh left over to be as decadent as I bloody well like! The car will behave perfectly and probably do the whole trip on one tank of fuel - it's my daydream after all! And then I woke up :(

What do you mean this isn't the SM owners club?
