Nat, has a 4x4 GTi so will have a short nosed bonnet and anyone would hardly want to fit a long nosed bonnet when they have the slatted grill fitted (Especially if its a chrome one) !
Also on a Turbo Diesel model version , if you were to fit it with a long nosed one (After removing the grill slats to enable to shut the bonnet) you'd compromise the air flow which goes thro' to the 'ACIC' (Air cooled inter-cooler) !
It can be seen that the one on E-Bay (that's been broken) is a short nosed type so its the correct one, and if its the same colour too thats that's a bonus !
So Nat, if its the correct colour I'd go for it , if its not I have a White short nosed bonnet available from a TZD Turbo (Which has the ACIC ducting fitted to the under side) and I see your location is Birmingham so I'm probably nearer for you too than the advertised/breaking one which is at Ewloe, Flintshire (I'm in Derby) !
