I happen to be the poor unfortunate who owns the BX19TGD here and was expecting a friend of a BX FORUM MEMBER to collect it for him saturday as he could't get time off work this weekend......but he never told me he'd changed his mind and didn't want it despite the fact that I held on to it for him. As you can see I have re-listed it on Ebay. It is not a scrap car, gives a smooth ride, the engine and box are better than in the one I'm using now and as I've stated you won't find a better example of either anywhere, had new brake discs before it was laid up and new dunlop tyres, the small hole in the floor was caused by un-noticed damage against by a rock or something creasing the floor exposing bare metal and where rust took hold. The return pipe to the reservoir on the front cross member has been temporarilly repaired. I've had an offer of 135 quid so far from someone who I believe will break it up. I've run BX's now for the last fifteen years, I know the weak points and I know that this car deserves to be saved. I don't really want to get rid of it but I need the space and the wife's been nagging for ages to get rid of it. Parts for these are getting harder to find, this is all good and will be total waste if it ends up in the scrap yard. They are so old now that a breaker will only de-pollute it, take the wheels off and then to the crusher. So if anyone here wants a fundamentally good car they better get their skates on..........
