BX17 TGD Hatch - Low miles

Post by MULLEY »

Rare 17n/a diesel in very nice looking condition & low mileage. Price is healthy, but it is rare car & if the condition in real life is as good as the piccies, dare i say it, it's probably worth the money

What kind of idiot would buy a 17n/a!? :D That looks bloody lovely and not unreasonable money if it really is THAT good - I bet it is.

From GT Cars of Leicester (now gone), where my dads 19TGD and the Xantia came from.

Looks tidy, nice mileage.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

If anybody views the car, I can attend with them if they want.

I've never seen this round Leicester.

Never knew there were any without it, until the other day i thought all hydraulic citroens had it as a matter of course until i saw someone say mk1 bx's didn't have it ,but that's a later one so i assumed it would.

My old man had a 1.4 leader in the late 80's and i used to drive it sometimes not long after i passed my test , i don't remember it being that heavy but i don't suppose that model would have had it either?

If you do a search It's been discussed on here many times before, the petrol BX's are apparently ok without PAS but the heavier diesel engines are a pain without it IMHO. Only some of the more basic 1.7N/A diesels didn't have it, all the 1.9 diesels have it.

A 1.4 petrol TU unit weighs ALOT less than a cast Iron 1.7 XUD hence why it wasnt so heavy, mind you saves you going to the gym!

Just pump up the tires and dont try and move the steering wheel unless your rolling...

Sophie is a MK1 1.9 diesel and she dosnt have it so is pretty heavy when driven slowly.
