I don't really want to part with my Tzd,but if it means saving Tim's 16V from the Peugot vultures, then I guess we all have to make a sacrifice.

5 hours to go and reserve still not met.In spite of this being a lovely car Ian,I would only be willing to do a deal to save it from being broken. As you may have guessed I'm rather attached to my TZD and I'd have great difficulty trying to find somewhere for the mountain of spares

Currently fighting every urge to bid on this or make an offer. Even my missus (whose long since given up asking/caring what cars I own or buy) would do her nut.
Unless of course someone wants to offer me silly money for the GTi 8 valve?

Can`t believe it went so cheap, really wished I could have afforded it
Meanwhile as the 16V I have in my garage MIGHT end up on eBay at some point I wonder if someone `in the know` could pm me with eBay user i.d`s of any known Pug breakers who might try and get it for the engine alone.
I don`t think this should upset too many people as if the bids don`t come in from Pug breakers it`ll be me who loses out financially.

I'm just pleased that it did not go to the vultures.I was prepared to do a deal with Ian to prevent it being broken, but I haven't got a clue what I would have done with the spares.Glad it's gone to a proper owner and so cheap  Did you tell him about the BXClub Tim?Will you still be around in spite of being BXless?
