Just spotted this petrol estate on Ebay without an MOT for £250 which looks quite good...

But, beware it was supposedly SOLD for £150 on the 27/03/12 and has now earned the E-Bay seller a (-1) feedback from the would be buyer !

No that does not look too good... Perhaps the seller tried to extract more money after completion of the sale.

Of course, might be that the 'buyer' is one of those idiots who thought he could drive home in it...

Odd that the price has gone up by £100 after a non-sale though. Curious.

I think it was up for £250 and the sale price was a best offer.

Personally, I'd only consider buying this after having a real good look at it in the flesh. If the seller is that sentimental about it, he should consider getting it MOT'ed and giving it a good send-off. I'd treat it with extreme caution.

winning bidder used buy it now then contacted the seller to arrange collection only to be told by the seller that he had decided not to sell it after all

i was going to go for this car, but missed out on the buy it now, i emailed the owner to just say if the deal falls through, let me know, However! i had 2 emails next day!!! first one saying he did'nt like the sound of the buyer,and if i offered him more, would sell to me,2nd email telling me sale had fallen through, and to phone him, says the buyer wanted to banger race it! i emailed him back saying id call him tomarrow eve, as was now late, he replied in the morning that he'd been told it was worth more,and had put it back on ebay, at £250, at this point, i decided to forget it!! saying that, it don't look a bad car!! :roll:

Seller sounds like a crook then!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

I cannot remeber seeing a seller with a negative feedback profile (of -1)!
