One for Timmy perhaps?

Pop quiz:

1987 TRD 1.9... Would it have had PAS or manual?

Cheers!

If its a mk2 I would expect so. But European specs do change.

All uk 1.9d cars had pas.

Wouldn't be a TRD in the UK, it'd be a DTR which definately would have PAS. If it's Euro, the TR* is mid-range so usually has PAS. The only ones that didn't were early 16s.

Not quite right there, my 86 TRD has no PAS.

Yours is the tres desirable Mk 1, an 87 will make it mk2 so should have pas.

The euro specs vary wildly, the French spec "RE" models had no eleccy windows or central locking either, and some of the 16v's had manual rear windows too. In the UK we got very well specced up cars, only beaten by the Autralian/NZ cars which all seemed to have alloys and A/C.
