1988 1.9 GTi Saloon (Manual) For Sale (On E-Bay)

Post by RxBX »

As title listing (F326 FRC) spotted for sale on E-BAY with a starting/asking price of £300 !

But with the state its in with the welding issues and not forgetting that this is an early MK2 (So it will only have the cad-plated hydraulic/brake pipework) you need to fear the worse and budget for a re-pipe if its not been already done ?

I therefore personally see this ending up as a spares donor vehicle sadly :(

It would be a shame to see it scrapped, but it's going to need a lot of work to get it tidy; the paint work alone - before you even think about the welding - is going to cost more than the asking price of the car. Has anyone out there got 3 or 4 hundred quid plus another grand - or thereabouts - to love it back to life? Probably not - sadly. :(

it's not the first time this has been listed.. suspect it'll need to be a good deal cheaper to shift..
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
