BX14 Soon to be for sale £375 or £180 with short MOT

I may have gone about this the wrong way financially, as I paid £300 for my BX 14, and in the next few weeks will be paying £150 for welding work and £50 for an MOT, so it will have 12 months MOT on it. I am looking for £375 for the car with 12 months MOT on it.

It is a lovely BX with a few scrapes and one large dent in the front N/S wing. Its gearbox makes a noise on overrun but will go on for years like this I am sure. The other job is rear arm bearings I suspect. Its had an easy life and has just passed 100,000 miles. It performs as new and has no fluid leaks. Sunroof in-operable (seized).

Reason for sale - I don't use my car in the week and fancy something older and sportier...I have run BX's all my life and feel now is a time to change.

Car is in London although can be viewed at the Northern rally this Sunday (only on request as Tim will be giving me a lift further up North otherwise).

If your handy with a welder and would rather get the car through an MOT yourself, come and get it for £180 no offers...ITS mot'd till 29th June, taxed till end June.

Pictures to come... price reduced to £140 with short MOT, or £330 with 12 montths MOT. Anyone want to save a nice one? Otherwise its the dreaded bay, and who knows who will buy it.

Really trying not to look at this... It isn't Delage red (the colour I want my 14 TGE to be) but I can't see a better deal coming up, to put it away until next autumn when I will be looking for a 14 to replace my astra as daily driver. I'll go and see what the Mr thinks (expects negative comments).

I got told quite firmly, no.

I am keen but with us moving house and we won't have anywhere to store it until later this year (have to empty a garage that has been our dumping ground of stuff 'to sort' as we are packing to move house). I also have the money, but it is already spoken for apparently...
