You were going through Leadenham, and I thought I recognised the wheel trims, then the registration number looked familiar! I had thoughts on this one myself; did look nice as it drove past!skattrd wrote:That would have been me driving to/from WashingtonMark Dunmore wrote:Just spotted this one driving past my workplace!!!

This one is sold Russ (Mat - can you change the original title?). RD is quite low spec but still has (IIRC) eleccy front windows and central locking.
Re: For Sale: BX RD Estate, £600
Correct Mr DW - the luxury of central locking and leccy windows. Not even a rev counter on this one, I get an analogue clock where the rev counter should be

I hate driving anything without a rev counter, dunno why but I'd have that over electric windows and central locking given a choice.

Me too. I usually shift gear by feel and revs rather than speed - so a rev counter is very preferable.mat_fenwick wrote:I hate driving anything without a rev counter, dunno why but I'd have that over electric windows and central locking given a choice.

Re: Sold: BX RD Estate, £600
I don't find a lack of rev counter a problem at all. Seems easy enough to feel when a gearchange is needed. It can be quite interesting to see the revs at times, but it's not essential.

Agreed entirely, which makes it all the more strange why I hate being without one!Dollywobbler wrote:Seems easy enough to feel when a gearchange is needed.

oops, sorry forgot to login last week and amend this to now being sold. Despite the faults and quirks I'm starting to miss the old girl already, funny how some cars just get you isn't it!
