You can get trim repairers to come in paint them, with a small airbrush, weve used them before on rips/tears and holes from mobile phones (and stiletto heels! )
This is the one from down here in cornwall that i went and had a look at for him pre-purchase. Based on the purchase price and the very significant transport costs i think it's a very fair start price.
Also, there's nowhere you'll get messed around more than on a forum with all the umms and maybe's. Ebay's the way to go, everyone's gotta live.
