Looks lovely. Top dollar, but if you want a well sorted GTi with all modern conveniences (what gentleman wouldn't?!) you'll struggle to find a better one I'd have thought. No mention of rust or mileage though; if it's squeaky clean and low(ish) mileage, I think that's a fair price.

If I hadn't just bankrupted myself with the Challenge I'd have snapped this up. Looks lovely. Nice and straight. Seems a genuine seller as well. Someone buy it please before I go see my bank manager. Old Chinese proverb:-"one can never have too many BX's".

Identical to my old Gti, which i've never seen since & the new owners put a private plate on it BXI something or the other, so i can't check to see if its on the road or not.

Funnily enough, i posted my car on this site & for the same amount of wedge, & i got £950 which i thought was rather good considering i'd bought the car for a lot less 4 years earlier. So zero deprciaton, only appreciation

Readvertised with a price drop that akes it a bit more of a prospect.

I did drop the seller a line through carandclassic about a month ago but got no response. I was in Stroud (just down the road) visiting my parents last week. Maybe if it's still around next time I'm down that way...
