Been a good today. Sleepy`s just left (he got here around 8.00am) and we`ve done a lot of stripping of my old estate. It`s now pretty much a bare shell as engine and box had already gone and now large chunks of the interior, the lights and the rear estate door have been removed along with calipers, all struts (inc. rear ones!) and the n/s/r radius arm as well as a few other bits and pieces.

Vanny turned up to do some more work on the 16V taking residence in my garage and there`s not much left to do on it.

We fired up my newly acquired TGD turbo diesel (which sounds the part) and I managed to get a big dent out of the door on it too.

Tomorrow will see me give the TGD a thorough clean and polish as well as use the last of my decent BX wheels and tyres and it`ll probably go on eBay.

Have pictures here of today`s fun and games (will post as soon as I get the chance), weather was nice and everything went smoothly though getting the reserve fuel tank thingy of the estate was a bit of a struggle with one rusted bolt but we managed in the end.

Stewart, have your o/s/f splashguard here and I`ve also got the fuel tank mounting bracket here which Vanny though you`d been trying to find for your car.

You owe me nothing Stewart. Pop up whenever you like, I`ll be around most of this week.
Tomorrow sees the final curtain for the old diesel estate, though it will live on in at least two other cars, quite possibly about four or five

Silly as it sounds Mr B I think Sleepy may know better than I do if I still have this or not. If I do then consider it yours and I`ll let you know as soon as I find out.
