diesel auto driveshaft seals

Post by themildbunch »

Hi -

I have a very clicky RH driveshaft and a very worn lower engine mount on my auto so I thought I'd do both jobs together given the shaft will need to be removed anyway - I have a spare driveshaft but I'm not 100% sure which driveshaft seals I need - The only ones I can see on service.citroen for a diesel are:

3121-22
3121-20

thanks

IF they are the same as on a manual (I would assume so if you say there's only one listed) I've just fitted 3121 46 and 3121 44 to the silver one. 46 is the small one for the N/S driveshaft and 44 is the larger one on the other side. I wonder if the 22 and 20 part numbers refer to the later seal with plastic 'teeth' which partly protect the sealing face.

they are the same for the auto yes.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
